I first became
interested in complementary therapies in 1986 when I had regular massage
to keep me well as a newly qualified teacher. After studying various
styles of massage I became qualified in Aromatherapy which led to
courses in Clinical Aromatherapy, Oriental Medicine and Acupressure. At
this time I taught Aromatherapy in a local college. I continued massage
studies with Deep Tissue Release, Sports Remedial, Indian-Head (with
Ayurvedic Studies), Hot and Cold Stones, Lymph Drainage and Pregnancy
Massage. I
felt I also wanted to work more diagnostically and learnt Touch For
Health which led onto Kinesiology (Levels 1-6).To support the emotional
release I learnt Emotional Freedom Technique (E.F.T.). I also wanted to
work more energetically and took courses in Subtle Aromatherapy, Auric
Massage, Reiki (up to level 3) and more recently I completed a two year
Therapeutic Healing course. I am now on a post-graduate Crystal Healing
Course. I believe touch is important in our society. Also we are
searching for ways to help ourselves feel balanced physically,
emotionally and spiritually. With my toolbox of therapies I enjoy
blending what I feel the client needs at any one time. So I offer
treatments in three categories: Aromatherapeutics, Mosaic Therapeutics
and Mosaic Healing. I also work with my colleague Rosie Dowebekin with
the Childrens' Kinesiology clinic. I work at home and at Elaines' in
Cheap street, Frome. |
