I have been practising Shiatsu
for 14 years. I have concentrated on this beautiful, subtle, hands-on
therapy. My strength is deep, nurturing touch, warm strong hands, thumbs
that always find the pressure points that need to be treated. I have
also learned to trust in my emotional empathy. When people come in
frazzled, they go away with a relieved smile. When they have felt
overwhelmed, they are clearer and more in control. To their surprise,
very often backaches and headaches go, sore joints stop aching and
digestion improves.
I have also been teaching
Qigong in Frome for over 10 years. Qigong is a gentle, yet powerful
combination of movement and stillness. It is similar to Tai Chi but you
do not have to memorize a sequence. Suitable for all levels of fitness,
it promotes self-healing. It has helped many people to feel centred,
more energized, sleep better or be calmer, keep flexible, especially
when older. Classes are calm, friendly and flexible in responding to
people's needs. |
