Relaxation Sessions & Classical Yoga
Sundari is an
experienced and certified Yoga Teacher. Since 1999 she has trained in
numerous styles, choosing now to teach a meditative vinyasa (flowing)
style of yoga. She offers two styles of yoga classes: ‘Gentle Yoga &
Relaxation’ and ‘Hatha Yoga’. The former incorporates simple yoga
postures and relaxation techniques and is suitable for mixed ability
including beginners. ‘Hatha Yoga’ class focuses on progressing in
meditation, postures, sun salutes and yoga philosophy.
Due to specialising, and being
certified in, Chakra Yoga in 2004, breath work and energy work are also
present in her teaching. She also draws from Yoga's rich heritage of
Ayurveda and Patanjali's teachings.

in sessions: Thursdays: 6.40pm-7.45pm: Mixed Abilities, beginners
Classical yoga: Thursdays:
8.00pm-9.30pm; at least one years experience required.
Structural Yoga Therapy
Her continual training has led
her to study with an internationally acclaimed Structural Yoga Therapist
in 2007 and she now offers 1-2-1 Yoga Therapy sessions. She successfully
works with physical conditions such as back and shoulder pain, and with
(what she considers) energetic conditions such as low-self
esteem/heartbreak. These sessions intend to create a personal tailored
program for the client to practise at home and are therefore suitable
for those who are willing to do this. They are also suitable for those
who are wishing to deepen existing personal practice.
Sundari also trained as an
apprentice to one of Britain's leading Pregnancy Yoga bodies: Sitram and
Partnerships / Yoga Campus London. She trained during her pregnancy with
her son, and feels passionate about the benefits of using breath work
and yoga to support the pregnant journey from the early stages through
to the birth.
