Psychodynamic counselling emphasises the role of early experience in shaping psychological development. It offers the space to work through areas of your life which may be troubling you. Although friends and family can sometimes help, it is often not easy to confide in those closest to you. An experienced counsellor can listen to you without making judgements and help you find new resources within yourself. Counselling is offered to individuals and couples. It is suitable for all types of emotional difficulties such as stress, anxiety, abuse, bereavement and relationship issues. This is a confidential service. All our counsellors have undertaken a rigorous training and adhere to the BACP's "Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy".
